Samaritan Community Center hosts Community Collaboration Job Fair

Samaritan Community Center (SCC) announced in a news release it is hosting a “Community Collaboration Job Fair” on Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It will be held at SCC's Rogers center, located at 2910 S. 8th St. and is open to everyone.

Participating organizations include:

• J.B. Hunt
• Goodwill
• Snelling
• UpSkill
• Daylight Donuts
• Northwest Arkansas Community College Adult Education
• Northwest Arkansas Community College Culinary/Brightwater
• Dress for Success

The job fair will bring together local employers, workforce organizations and community partners to connect with Northwest Arkansas residents, according to the release.

“We are excited to provide our Neighbors with access to job opportunities right here in our building, including positions they may not otherwise have access to,” said Holly Sparks-Hill, care program manager for SCC, in the release. “We are so grateful to partner with local organizations and businesses that are willing to come together and invest in our community. When we collaborate and bring these resources under one roof, we can remove barriers, create connections, and help our Neighbors take meaningful steps toward a better future.”
