Mission: To reduce recidivism by providing rehabilitative resources to alternative court clients with housing, education, and supportive services.
About: P.E.A.R.L. was founded by Karen Slater and the late Ben Roberds because it was evident that many clients in the Benton County Alternative Courts program did not have access to resources to help them overcome addiction. Karen is a alumni of the Alternative Court program of Benton County and is the acting executive director.
Services: P.E.A.R.L. offers to the clients in Benton County Alternative Court the Roberds Scholarship for vocational or higher education, financial literacy, food pantry and emergency services through collective impact throughout our community. A Transitional Living home will be open in Rogers in 2020!
Volunteer Opportunities: We always welcome volunteers from our community to help with our programs offered to the clients- Financial Literacy and Mentoring. Items always needed are items for the food pantry, gas cards, toiletries, gift cards. Volunteers will be needed to prepare our new home for residents in February 2020.
