Mission: Bo's Blessings - LUTHAB, Inc., is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, more specifically to engage the Northwest Arkansas community, including veterans and military family, in improving the quality of life and positively impact the lives of the military community by providing empowerment and reintegration programs, community service, and through veterans' appreciation programs.

About: Bo's Blessings was started in January 2013 after the death of my son Bo. Bo was an Army veteran who spent his short life in service to the Lord and the military. He was tragically killed along with his wife in April of 2010 coming home from an non-profit event they had hosted for DAV members. Bo always wanted to lead his brothers and sisters in the military to Christ, "Not by Bible thumping, but by the way I show them Jesus." Eleven months later my spouse David died of brain cancer. Many hours of prayer and GOD led to the development and creation of Bo's Blessings. With compounded grief can come remarkable gifts from GOD. Bo's Blessings is such a gift.

Services: We provide financial and material support to veterans transitioning from homelessness to homes. Past due utilities, application deposits are a few of the housing issues we address within the veteran community.

We provide Christmas gifts for all residents at the Fayetteville Veterans Home.

We work in partnership with the Fayetteville National Cemetery for burials for all "unclaimed" veterans. We provide the service, flowers, urns etc. and claim the veteran as no longer unclaimed, but claimed by Bo's Blessings.

We have provided volunteer support for WAA for the past 10 years and have been responsible for the removal of the over 8,500 wreaths yearly.

We provide volunteers for the Honor and Respect project to wash every headstone at the FNC twice a year.

We provide paper products packages for newly housed veterans as well as a starter kit for transitional veterans housed in Washington and Benton county.

We provide Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes for veterans and their families. These are complete meals they will cook. Turkey, dressing, vegetables, and desserts, etc.

Provide a meal and certificates of appreciation for all staff members at the FNC. (all veterans)

Help with veteran home repairs and have provided air conditioner for a veteran in the past.

Occasionally pay for transportation for travel out of state for veteran's funeral.

Paid for transportation for a veteran to travel out of state to participate and work with homeless veterans at VA Stand Down.

Pay for medication and housing costs for a terminally ill veteran.
