Mission: For The Love NWA is a 501(c)3 non-profit food truck that feeds the hungry locally, gathers community, creates service opportunities, and empowers families through a partnership with Help One Now in Belize. For The Love exists to feed the hungry, cultivate community, and fight poverty!
About: It is our desire to not only feed the stomach, but feed the soul! We serve meals. We have conversations. We listen. We care. We love without an agenda. Without rushing. Without expectation. And then we do it again the next week. Gathering together to share a meal, some laughs, and a bit of hope.
So that’s what we do! We think you should do it too. Everyone’s invited!
Our focus:
Feed people.
Weekly we will bring organizations, community groups, sports teams, businesses, families, and even your crazy Uncle Dan’s barbershop quartet together to do one thing. Feed people. The group for the week will prepare, cook, serve, and most importantly love on neighbors that come. Gathering together to share a meal, some laughs, and a bit of hope.
Love People.
We want to show up for people. To meet them where they are. No matter what their past, present, or future look like. No matter the circumstances. No matter if they join us once or every time.
We can’t fix everything. But we can show up. We can choose to love well. We can choose to invite everyone to the table and show them that they aren’t alone.
Empower People.
We not only want to fill bellies and hearts locally but also in Belize City, Belize! Through our partnership with Help One Now, we will be able to use profits to fight poverty by getting businesses up and running for families.
This is a game changer! It allows them to be able to provide for their families and helps their community as well by providing jobs for others! We believe hope is contagious and we want to pour out as much as we can!
Volunteer Opportunities:
We are the first ‘pay what you can’ food truck in NWA. Our lunch service helps to cover the costs of our Neighbor Nights and ensure our friends facing food insecurity can eat a high quality, delicious meal during the week for free. We operate on a volunteer basis with the exception of our food truck manager so we need your help!
This is a fun and unique way to serve. No experience necessary. We will train you. Expect fun music, great conversation, a fast-paced environment while you help prep food, take orders, engage with the community and clean up! Must be 15 to serve in the truck without an adult.
