About:  New Life Ranch offers a range of programming and services to youth, families, schools, organizations, and churches.  NLR is located in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains of Northeast Oklahoma.  People come to NLR from all over, although most of our campers come from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and Missouri. NLR is a valley set apart for the Glory of God.  2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”  The ministry at NLR is programmed to offer staff and all participants:

1.  A spiritually, emotionally and physically safe place
2.  An opportunity and environment for Biblical, spiritual growth
3.  An exceptional educational experience

We accomplish this by:

1.  Building relationships between campers and our staff
2.  Teaching practical Christianity through the active Christian life styles of our staff
3.  Creating unique programming
4.  Providing educationally and spiritually sound materials and activities
5.  Providing safe programming
6.  Providing quality training and support for staff by NLR leadership

Programs:  NLR offers a variety of programs including:

Summer Camp: We strive to help every student grow through dynamic, hands-on learning adventures. Real life applications are found in each uniquely designed learning experience leading to a new knowledge of self, a deeper connection to others, and a renewed commitment to Jesus Christ.

L.E.A.D: Designed for college students and graduates (ages 18-25) who want a year of intentional mentoring, challenge, discernment, visioning, and investing in their future, LEAD utilizes the ministry of NLR as an experiential learning laboratory for it’s participants. LEAD stands for Leadership, Experience, and Discipleship. It is our goal that LEAD participants grow in each of these areas.

Day Camp: Day Camp is a great way for campers going into the 1st-5th grade to get a big taste of camp!

Retreats: NLR’s guest service team strives to make New Life Ranch a comfortable and easy place for ministry to happen.

Leadership Development: Leadership Development is for high school students who are yearning for something more: discipleship, community, service, spiritual growth. The program starts with the Nehemiah Team, for students entering at least the 10th grade.

Community Ministries: Our desire is to see children and families in the surrounding towns healed and made whole through a personal relationship with Christ.

Horsin’ Around: Horsin’ Around is a great weekend of fun at NLR! During the weekend you will spend time improving your riding skills, hanging out with friends, going on trail rides, and being renewed in your relationship with God. Horsin’ Around is for students going into the 3rd -12th grade.

Family Camps: Family Camps at NLR are a great way for your family to get away and spend quality time with each other. We have several Family Camps throughout the year, so there is sure to be one that your family will love!

Team Building: Team building is great for youth groups, athletic teams, school administrations, church staff, and volunteer leaders.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We are always looking for volunteers for a wide variety of projects. If you would like to volunteer for a day or even a year we would love to talk to you about some projects we have around camp. We also love to work with Boy Scouts who are working on their Eagle Scout project. Contact us about volunteer opportunities!
