DJ Promote (Carlos Trevino) has performed for tens of thousands around the world touring with artists like Lecrae, Chris Tomlin, Propaganda and many more. Originally from Texas, Promote was attracted to DJ culture as a kid through breakdancing, music videos and grafitti art. He’s is currently producing his own music and collaborates with DJ’s in a collective called TableTurners.
Promote found faith as he was learning to DJ. Through it, he found a reason to move crowds. “When you’re up there and playing these sounds, they’re doing things to people beyond just what you hear. Those sounds are actually triggering emotion. For me, it’s about getting people excited, then turning that excitement into something that will last forever.”
