Gable Price is an artist, songwriter and producer born in the wild, wild Midwest of the USA and currently residing in Los Angeles, California. His catalog spreads from pop, to rock and roll, to Christian contemporary.
Gable’s musical beginnings started at age 6 when his dad began teaching him electric guitar on an Ibanez Strat copy. At age 11, Gable and his brother performed at a music festival at a family friend's farm. Gable shredded the intro to the song “Tell The World” by Hillsong United, for his band “Chipotle and the Chicken Strips”, comprised of his dad and his 2 brothers. Gable's music journey became a bit more serious on his 13th birthday, when his father gave him a Gibson Les Paul, and a letter asking him to be his worship leader assistant at Vineyard Church on the west side of Cincinnati. His roots were fully planted in worship music for the early part of his life, aside from a 2 year stint in a cover band with his older brother Jonah.
In 2017, shortly after graduating high school, he embarked on a journey in his 1977 Dodge Camper van (named “The Dreamboat”) to Redding California where he would begin attending school. During these years, Gable decided that instead of going on the class mission trip, he and his friends would go to Sacramento, CA and record an EP. After raising an astonishing $1000, the group recorded 4 songs in a studio attached to a church that a friend worked at. After finishing the songs, in fall 2018 they released their Debut EP “The Redding EP”, under the name “Gable Price and Friends.”
Fast forward to 2020, after the release of GP&F’s debut full length album “Fractioned Heart” and following Gable’s graduation from his final year of ministry school, Gable began the journey of becoming a professional songwriter, and still stumbles through what that exactly means. Since then, Gable has quit his job, met the love of his life, got married, and is writing and performing for a living, or at least close to a living.
