Kara grew up in a small town in Nebraska, but made the trek to Arkansas to get her degree in Broadcasting from John Brown University. Although she moved away for a couple of years after graduating, she was so excited when an opportunity opened for her to return and be a part of the Real FM team. She is married to Cody, and is a proud cat mom to two mostly adorable, and sometimes crazy, cats. Kara loves baking, curling up with a good book, camping with her husband, good conversation with friends over coffee, and some good dance therapy at Zumba class.
