Fall Rock Swap

About the Event

The Northwest Arkansas Gem and Mineral Society, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to encouraging people to learn more about their earth. We are Rockhounds! We are hosting our Fall Rock Swap, a free out-door gem and mineral show (on a smaller scale) on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 am - 3 pm.

This will be at our Clubhouse, located just north of Siloam Springs at 15048 S. Highway 43. Vendors will set up tables on the east side of the Clubhouse under shade trees. Parking will be on the west side of the clubhouse, and both are free. The Gem Sluice will be set up, offering bags of dirt for purchase, then you wash it all out in the running water and find gemstones, fancy rocks, fossils, shells, and a bit of everything .....which you keep and take home. At 1:00pm there will be a llve auction of rocks and minerals and rock-related things. Pick up a Bid Card and join the fun, and maybe get a nice specimen, too. Vendors will have whole rocks, sliced rocks, cabochons, crystals, fossils, jewelry,....and much more at their tables. It's fun, and family-friendly. Come visit with us!
