Tenroc

Jason "Tenroc" Cornet is a Grammy-nominated producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Queens, New York. A self-taught musician who began playing piano, drums, and guitar by age seven, Tenroc spent years building an elite behind-the-scenes resume — contributing to music from artists including Rihanna, the Jonas Brothers, Renee Rapp, Jon Bellion, and Jon Batiste. His work on Batiste's World Music Radio earned him two Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year.

After years of helping shape other artists' stories, Tenroc felt a clear calling from God to step into the spotlight himself. His debut album, God Is A Person, is a self-produced collection blending contemporary gospel, R&B, hip-hop, and soulful pop — all rooted in Scripture and personal faith. The project features collaborations with Tori Kelly, Jon Keith, nobigdyl., Aaron Cole, and Leeland, among others.

Tenroc's music is marked by a desire to make faith feel personal and accessible, reflecting his belief that God isn't a distant force but a being with real personhood who speaks, listens, and moves in people's lives. He serves as a musician and music director at his church in New York City, where his love for music was first nurtured.
