About the Event

Join us Saturday, September 19, from 11 AM - 4 PM at Luther George Park for the annual Monarch Flight Festival — a free, family-friendly celebration of conservation, environmental education, culture, migration, and community.

• Meet environmental and conservation organizations from across our region through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and interactive learning.
• Explore activities for the whole family, from arts and crafts to experiences that bring conservation and the natural world to life. 
• Take flight with us. We’ll be giving away thousands of free monarch wings for children while supplies last before coming together for the signature Monarch Flight Parade. 
• Follow the monarch’s remarkable migration and discover the lands, cultures, and communities connected along its journey. 
• Experience the cultures of our community through food, music, performances, storytelling, and programming woven throughout the festival.
