Mission: Rain Makers is a ministry that uses sports to: 1) Share the gospel of Jesus Christ and Christian teaching/principles with its players; 2) Improve the fundamentals and skills of each of its players in a particular sport/activity; and 3) Offer a healthy environment for young people to grow in moral behavior, character, and integrity.
About: Rain Makers was founded in December of 2004 in Joplin, MO. We now have operations in Joplin, Springfield, MO, and Northwest Arkansas.
Services: Rain Makers provides girls and boys in the 3rd-12th grade the opportunity to play competitive basketball, improve their basketball skills and fundamentals, and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ in a healthy and positive environment.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteer opportunities include coaching and donations for scholarships for kids in need who want to play basketball.
