Katie Lighty

Katie Lighty is a singer, musician, & songwriter, who finds deep joy in creating and inviting others into her artistic process. 

She began writing and composing music at a young age, and as a teenager began writing songs deeply personal to her own experiences and spiritual awakenings. 

She released her debut EP "Where I Belong" in 2020, a project in which she processed the beautiful truth of her own belonging and identity. In 2021 she teamed up again with producer Sajan Nauriyal on the single "Never", where Katie began to deeply discover her own sound and identity within the pop genre. In the summer of 2022, Katie wrote and recorded several songs to be released as singles: "Familiar," as well as her latest release in March 2023: "Honestly." 

She and her husband, Brett, live in Portland, OR, with their three children, where Katie serves as the Deacon of Worship at Bridgetown Church.
