Joshua Micah is an American solo artist whose music combines pop and electronic influences with Christian themes. His mother was a vocalist in the worship team at the family's local church, and Joshua Micah began singing during weekly church services as well, quickly becoming a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in addition to a gifted vocalist.
After touring the East Coast with his first band, Light the City, he moved to Los Angeles and launched his career as a solo artist with 2012's "When the World Ends." A five-song EP, Let It Go, followed in 2013, and Micah released the singles "We're in Heaven" and "Blueprints" the following year. His career reached a newfound peak with 2016's "Parachute," which sat at Number 1 on Billboard's Christian Hot AC/CHR chart for two weeks during the spring of 2017. His follow-up single, "Who Says?," topped the same chart later that year, remaining at Number 1 for seven weeks. Both songs appeared on the EP 20XX, which was released in 2017 and earned another Top 10 Christian hit with the 2018 single "Heart Stops Beating."
Balanced between the worlds of indie-pop and Christian music, Micah released the singles "Watch Me Come to Life," "Moving Through Me," and "We Can Be the Ones" in 2020, then collaborated with Owl City on the Christian hit "Let the Light In" in 2022.
