Lathan Warlick

Dancer-turned-rapper Lathan Warlick utilizes trap-styled beats and country-flavored productions to spread his messages of positivity. The Christ-following Tennessean has released a crop of singles and numerous EPs since his commercial debut in 2015. The EPs range from Tellem That Im Comin (2016), featuring the assertive breakthrough title song, to My Way (2021) and Let's Be Honest (2022), his highly collaborative first recordings through major-label Columbia.

Before he was known for music, Warlick, who is originally from Jackson, Tennessee, expressed himself as a hip-hop dancer. A video of his was reposted on social media by Chris Brown, but he soon opted to promote upliftment as a rapper, inspired by a life-threatening incident. Having started by recording clips in which he added new verses to contemporary hits, he continued to hone his budding talent with wholly original tracks. These were received well enough to encourage him to release music commercially.
