Kendrick Lamar made some major waves in Christian Hip-Hop after dropping a new untitled track (that some are calling "Watch the Party Die") exclusively to Instagram. The full song contains a lot of profanity, but Kendrick is bemoaning the negative aspects of hip-hop music and culture. He then name drops Christian rappers Lecrae and Dee-1 as examples of men of faithfulness and character.
"Sometimes I wonder what Lecrae would do?" he says, followed by, "I wanna be empathetic, my heart like Dee-1."
Lecrae responded with a remix of the track, and Dee-1 released his own response as well.
